Overview
Survive Your Ideas Wiki is an independent, fan-made reference site. It has no account system, no newsletter and no paid membership, so it does not ask visitors for names, email addresses or payment details. This policy explains the automated data the site does collect — analytics and, before launch, advertising cookies — and what you can do about each.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
This wiki measures aggregate traffic with Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-N6J0G26PMY. GA4 sets and reads cookies on this domain to tell us things like how many visitors a page got, which country they came from, what device family they used and which page referred them. The counts are aggregate: we look at totals, not individual browsing histories. You can block GA4 with your browser's cookie settings or Google's official opt-out add-on, and the site keeps working without it.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Before launch, the site owner plans to serve ads through Google AdSense to cover hosting. Google and its certified partners may set cookies or read advertising identifiers to serve ads on this site, including personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies through aboutads.info (NAI) or youronlinechoices.eu where those programs operate. Refusing ad cookies does not block access to any content on this wiki.
Cookies this site sets itself
The wiki itself stores no tracking cookies: there is no login, no cart and no preference cookie. The cookies you may encounter here come from the two services above (analytics and advertising), and clearing them in your browser removes both.
Children's privacy
Survive Your Ideas is played by people of many ages, but this wiki is a general-audience reference site and is not directed at children under 13. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children; its analytics and advertising vendors handle data under their own published policies, and parents can use the opt-outs described above.
Your choices and requests
To ask about analytics-related data — access, deletion, or a question about this policy — use the contact page. A public mailbox address is being published before launch; until then the contact page carries the current placeholder pending site owner confirmation (owner review before P0-7).
Changes to this policy
If the analytics setup or the advertising setup changes, this page gets a new dated entry at the top. The date above this section is the policy's own last-checked date.
